Our Privacy-First Approach

Whisper is built for neurodivergent adults who value privacy and autonomy. We believe your biometric data should stay on your device, not on our servers.

This privacy policy explains what little data we collect during the beta sign-up process and how the Whisper app itself will handle your sensitive health data.

What We Collect (Beta Sign-Up)

When you join the beta waitlist, we collect:

  • Email address: To send your beta invite and app updates
  • Apple Watch ownership status: To understand hardware compatibility
  • Sign-up timestamp: To manage waitlist order
  • Source URL: To understand how you found us (e.g., sparkry.ai, referral link)

We do NOT collect: names, phone numbers, locations, or any health data during sign-up.

How We Use Your Data

Your beta sign-up data is used only for:

  1. Sending your beta access invitation
  2. Providing app updates and support
  3. Understanding which Apple Watch models our beta testers have

We will NEVER sell, rent, or share your email with third parties. Ever.

"I Don't Have Servers" Architecture

Once the Whisper app launches, your biometric data (heart rate, motion, etc.) will be processed entirely on your Apple Watch and iPhone. We don't have servers to store your health data.

Here's how it works:

  • Local processing: Your Apple Watch analyzes biometric patterns in real-time
  • On-device storage: All health data stays in Apple Health on your iPhone
  • No cloud sync: We don't upload your biometrics to our servers
  • You control access: Only you can see your data via the Apple Health app

If we don't have your data, we can't lose it, leak it, or be forced to hand it over.

Third-Party Services

During the beta sign-up process, we use:

  • n8n (automation platform): Stores your email to send beta invites. Hosted in EU with GDPR compliance.
  • Cloudflare Pages: Hosts this website. Does not access form data.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: Spam protection. No personal data stored.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: Privacy-respecting analytics (no cookies, no tracking across sites).

Data Retention

  • Beta waitlist emails: Deleted 30 days after beta launch (or if you request removal)
  • Beta tester emails: Retained for support until you delete your account
  • App usage data: Zero. We don't track app usage once you have the beta.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of all data we have about you
  • Deletion: Request immediate removal from the beta waitlist
  • Correction: Update your email address if it changes before beta launch
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from emails at any time (link in every email)

Security

We protect your data with:

  • HTTPS encryption for all website traffic
  • Basic authentication for webhook endpoints
  • Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam and abuse
  • Regular security audits of our automation workflows

Children's Privacy

Whisper is designed for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a child has signed up, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we'll email all beta waitlist members with a summary of changes. Continued use of Whisper after changes means you accept the updated policy.
